Platform policy · effective July 16, 2026

Community rules

These rules apply to public projects, creator profiles, tools and community activity. Technical receipts record a bounded observation; they do not certify skill, safety, returns or suitability.

Rule 1

Represent claims honestly

Do not fabricate receipts, observations, results, identity links or platform verification. Self-declared method and creator fields must remain distinguishable from facts the platform observed.

Rule 2

No guarantees or deceptive performance promotion

Do not promise returns, hide material limitations, cherry-pick outcomes, or present hypothetical, backtested or private figures as independently verified public performance.

Rule 3

Do not impersonate

Do not claim another person, organization, account, repository or project. A manifest name alone is not identity proof.

Rule 4

Disclose incentives

Clearly disclose compensation, ownership, affiliate relationships, sponsorships and other material conflicts wherever they affect a project or tool claim.

Rule 5

Keep secrets and private data private

Never request or publish passwords, API keys, seed phrases, brokerage credentials, private portfolio data, authentication codes or another person’s sensitive information.

Rule 6

No restricted financial activity through public surfaces

Public projects and tools may not use MostlyNo to custody or transmit funds, execute trades for others, solicit transactions, or present individualized investment advice. Private visualization is not a public offer.

Rule 7

No abuse, spam or manipulation

No harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, malware, phishing, repetitive promotion, fake engagement or attempts to manipulate discovery and moderation.

Private reporting

How moderation works

  1. Open the relevant project page and choose Report this project privately.
  2. Send factual context and public evidence links. Do not include credentials or unrelated private data.
  3. The platform may preserve evidence, limit visibility, request clarification, add context, or remove content when warranted.
  4. A creator may respond to a moderation notice with corrections or evidence. Another reviewer should inspect a contested decision when practical.

Reports remain private by default. A report is an allegation, not a platform finding; filing one does not establish that a rule was broken. Immediate danger, fraud in progress or other emergencies should also be reported to the appropriate authorities.

These operational rules do not replace the platform’s terms, privacy notice or applicable law. Features may remain unavailable while legal and safety review is incomplete.
